It looks like the Wall of Martyrs will indeed get at least part of its terrain with rules, or perhaps they will also sell the bunker part separately. This rumor set includes a "Battle Bunker" as a fortification listing. Of course this is still a rumor.
Dark Angels heavy support is listed here as well as a dedicated transport list.

HEAVY SUPPORT:
Predator - Plasma and "Reaper Cannon" new main gun option, no new sponson options - new model kit possible (and the Predator is kind of an old kit).
Whirlwind - Flakk missile option.
Land Raider - Dark Angels get all the current Imperial types. Deathwing can take then at dedicated transports.
Dreadnought - The classics that we know and love, moving on...
Devastator Squad - Flakk missile option.
Vindicator - Nothing new here...
Siege Cannon - Techmarine's mortar-like cannon. Multiple sources speak of this model being somehow interchangable with Imperial Guard artillery kits to round out the last missing models. ~Editor's note: the Griffon perhaps?
DEDICATED TRANSPORTS:
Rhino - Standard rules.
Razorback - Standard rules, new updated model kit with ALL turret weapons options mentioned.
Land Raider - Deathwing Terminators ONLY.
Land Speeder Storm - Scouts only.
Battle Bunker - from the Wall of Martyrs kit.

What are you smoking? The plasma pred is Demos pattern, so not expected in 40k, the Flakk Whirlwind, makes sense, but if its not the Hyperios launcher with intercept, then its not the FW unit either. And the razor back, even FQ doesn't sell all the turret options.

DeleteNo, we don't need jet bikes. Just make Ravenwing units a bit cheaper and I'll be happy. My holiday case from last year is bursting as it is with 35 termies, 3 Landraiders, 3 Speeders, 2 Dreads, and 6 bikes as it is. Sammael just sits on a shelf somewhere.

DeleteGiven the way they merchandise the Wall of Martyrs (1x bunker, 3xwalls, 2x emplacements) it looks like these will be released as individual components.
ReplyDeleteIt's the only way that the "for limited time only" claim makes sale... GW would not invest in expensive moulds for a LE.
It'll be the same as the imperial sector and fortress of redemption- they get 're-released' just before Xmas each year. Hope they do them separately though as I like the bunker, but I'm not keen on all the bodies/ boxes piled up on the walls

DeleteHa, how about just including ironclads? They really need to expand the allowed units, the SM battle force includes an ironclad which current DA's can't take.
DeleteNormal Dreadnought is elite for every other Power Armour army, I'd be surprised if it's in the Heavy Support section for Dark Angels.

Go and gather rumors of stickmonkey about DA the are always changing and there are at least 2/3 versions of each units/character...
And in addiction his rumors about RW contradict with the content of BL novel about RW that is official fluff...

Stickmonkey or ghost these rumour mongers do just make stuff up with 'educated' guesses and call them early playtest rumours.
ReplyDeleteGw aren't giving out any info so anyone who says they saw x model or sat in on x meeting would just either be fired on the spot or if an outside visitor wouldn't be allowed back ever.
If i had the dream job of working at gw hq in developement and had signed the nda's i wouldn't post rumours or give stuff away either as i would not only be betraying my employer but my collegues and friends also.
Jet Bikes jet BIKES and more jet bikes hope the codex gets lots of jet bikes for dark angels who cares change the fluff im all for it.
