The pics seem to be just rolling out everywhere, and I am amazed at how many people really are getting their White Dwarf's this early. So it looks like the morning is going to start off with a couple extra pics that were added to last night's bunch.

DeleteWho needs an upgrade kit for plagues? They are some of the easiest conversions you could ask for and have a host of possibilities if you can get a little creative.

DeleteNoise Marine upgrade is just a Finecast version of the metal pieces in the current kit, and the Noise Marine weapons are being Finecast too.

DeleteThey're Finecast, and nothing is new. Night Lords and Iron Warriors are Finecast version of current metal set, Noise Marines and THousand Sons are Finecast of the metal bits in the current sets (like GW did with Iron Hands squad)

Qutoe from White Dwarf Daily "Matt has worked on many armies over the years, but his current project is to paint as many Space Marine armies as he can, in as many different colours as he can find (though with 144 paints in our paint range that shouldn't be too hard). Currently he has a full Blood Angels Battle Company, half a Company of Ultramarines, a substantial Imperial Fists collection and more Black Templars than he can shake a paintbrush at. He's already planning on painting "SOME GREEN ONES" next."

So the champion appears to be a multi part kit, any idea if its plastic or finecast?

ReplyDeleteOver at warseer there are some pics. They're the old upgrade sets finecasted. In other news,(haven't seen this mentioned) looking closely at the German summary table reveals all 3 walkers are AV12/12/10 walkers, BS3/WS3, 3HPS. (drake has no WS characteristic) Seems a bit tame for models that size - less HPs than a defiler, more or less the same as a hellbrute.
